What does this tool actually compare?

Listing-health metrics: title length, bullet/key-features count, description word count, attributes filled (Walmart-only), image count, price, average rating, review count, Buy Box status. Each metric is checked against Walmart's format ideals so you can see where your Walmart listing under-performs your Amazon equivalent.

Do the products on both URLs need to be identical?

Ideally yes — the comparison only makes sense when you're looking at the SAME product on both marketplaces. The tool doesn't enforce this; it just renders the metrics side-by-side. Comparing different products will give you nonsense parity verdicts.

What's a healthy price-parity gap between Walmart and Amazon?

Within 3% is ideal. Walmart actively de-ranks Marketplace listings priced significantly higher than lowest-available retail (including Amazon). If Walmart is materially cheaper, that's a strong Buy Box signal. If Walmart is materially higher, expect rank suppression.

Why does my Amazon listing have fewer attributes than Walmart?

It doesn't — Amazon has attributes too. We mark Amazon attributes N/A in the comparison because Amazon's product pages don't expose them publicly the way Walmart does. The 30+ attribute target only applies to Walmart, where attributes drive 40% of the LQS content score.
