Buy Box Suppression

When Walmart removes the Add-to-Cart button from a listing entirely — usually because the price is too high vs the price-match crawler's reference.

Suppression isn't the same as 'losing the Buy Box to another seller.' It means no seller wins the Buy Box; the product is unbuyable until someone (you or another seller) drops the price.

The suppression threshold is opaque but typically triggers when the Walmart price is 5%+ higher than the cheapest competing retailer.

Recovery: drop the price to within ~1% of the reference and the Buy Box typically reappears within 4 hours.
