The universal product identifier — UPC (12 digits), EAN (13), or ISBN — Walmart requires on every catalog listing.
Walmart cross-references the GTIN against the brand's GS1 license. Counterfeit GTINs are a Walmart suspension risk.
Buy GTINs only from GS1 directly. Private-label sellers need a GS1 Company Prefix; resellers need invoices proving authentic sourcing.
