12-digit GTIN format — the standard barcode shape for North American consumer goods.
UPC-A is the 12-digit form. UPC-E is a 6-7 digit compressed form for small packaging — always normalizable back to UPC-A.
Walmart accepts UPC-A as the productIdType=UPC in the MP_ITEM feed.
